How did you do the finish? Me and my husband are wanting to redo a coffee table that looks alot like this! Did you use plain black paint to rub in? If there are directions you used for the process, please send it!

the before.....
we sanded it down, hammered in 'the summer day' by mary oliver, rubbed black paint in & gave it a coat of furniture wax.
if my house was bigger i'd be trading out my coffee table for this one... i love it.

i used a 'stamping set' i found at harbor freight ($3.99!) not expensive, just slow ;)
