This is such a great idea. I am going to search my kids' drawings to find one to make a version of this project. What medium did you use to affix the paper (or is it fabric)? Love your work.
i used mod podge to glue the paper to the wood, her drawing to the paper, and then more on top to protect it. i think it would be fabulous to use fabric as well!
when she drew this fairy, i knew we had to find a way to keep her up in the house. 
i'm in love!
